Thanks to The Green Button, I just found two more cool applications for Media Center 2005:

mceWeather: Shows your current weather, forecast and sattelite-image of your city on your tv!

mceContacts: Now you have all your contacts, adresses, telephone-numbers right on your TV or monitor. Supports import from Outlook but I can't vouch for how well.

It's great to see more developers writing apps for Media Center.  Let me know if you come across any cool apps as well.

unfortunately, the people of your company don't share your opinion: i have tried several times to get an answer on how to add these two apps to the "online spotlight" of mce to share them with other users, but got no answer at all ;-(((

do you (or anyone else) know of someone i could ask on how to add these two "cool applications" to the online spotlight?

thanks
Christoph

There are some disputable moments in your article. I do not absolutely agree with the author.
