Am I the only one who thinks that these Silverlight elements in the recent Microsoft sites are still terrible? The round corners aren't well rendered, that "wheel" is really hard to control (read: useless), you need to disable the pop-up blocker to click on those very low-res images in the wheel and so on... Other released Silerlight projects have the same design quality issues.

Wasn't Silverlight/WPF/Blend developed to improve collaboration between designers and developers? It feels like the first projects are still done by developers only. And by the way, Silverlight still has the same disadvantages as Flash when it comes to usability: after clicking on a Silverlight element, you can't use your browser's shortcuts. No zooming and no shift or middle mouse button click. Oh, and yes, no deep linking.
